Beads and a FEVER???

Hi all, hope you are doing well...this crazy weather of Oxford finally got to me too, well it does not help when hubby has had a cold forever!!! and I did kiss him, so I guess it is my fault...I have a cold, I am not very good at being sick, I find it difficult that a person is expected to be good at something that feels so bad...anyway I have a fever and I am late with the beads, so without too much more talk here is the deal...

I listed a whole bunch of new bead I made in the last week...they are yummy if I say so myself, check them out here in the shop...all together there are 17 items, most I have had in weeks...enjoy

Oh the winner of last week's bead is Ricki, thanks for all the entries, send me your address girl...

This weeks giveaway is made of of two beads, the one focal flat tab on the right is just yummy and fine, but the one flower bead on the right was fine when I took it out of the kiln, but maybe it was the fever, I kind of injured it with my dremel tool when cleaning, it has a bit of abrasions around the hole, its perfectly fine and no one will ever see it, specially if you use a bead cap with it...it is large, about 1 inch diameter with lots of purple flowers encased deep inside, enter to win them both by posting a quick hello, or "don't be such a baby about your cold" message here...you can enter every week to win, even if you have just won last week...

Thanks for stopping by, keep warm...

Jelveh

Peace

Hi Jelveh,

Hope you feel better soon. Life is good in PDX, just trying to ignore the cold & snow and think spring.

Wishing you good health,

Hi Jelveh,
Sorry you're not feeling well. I keep getting back a cold I've had since before Christmas. I agree with you...how are you supposed to be good at something that feels so bad? It makes no sense. I just try to stay at home and pamper myself whenever possible. Of course, that includes working in my studio, but as soon as it starts feeling like work I get a cup of tea, get into bed and take a nap. Works for me!

Feel better soon,
Stephani

Ah, sweet Jelveh, welcome to the world of sickies! I am still fighting whatever I have had since last Friday.
I agree with you 100%. I am not good at being sick either. Get well soon!
That flower bead is gorgeous. The mar you mentioned around the bead hole would not deter me from using the bead. Plus, you are correct about using a cap.
Ever since I have been sick I have been sleeping a lot. Right now I hear my bed calling my name. So off to bed I am.
Ginny

Hope your cold is on its way out! Maybe once you're back in warm and sunny Cali, you won't catch another one.

The new beads are just beautiful, as always. I had marked a set as a favorite, intending to get it on payday but it sold! Just goes to show how popular your beads are :)

Rest up, drink plenty of fluids and keep California dreamin':)

Hi Jelveh,

Funny how a simple thing like a cold can make us utterly MISERABLE. Make some delicious chicken noodle soup, and you'll feel better in no time, or at least well fed.

Hope today's a better day!

Jelveh,

Funny how we always get lots of advice when we're not feeling well -- lots of rest, drink lots of water, bundle up and sweat it out, etc. I'm as guilty as the rest!!! It's always nice to know that others really do care. Hope you start to feel better soon!

I always look forward to seeing your new beads. I'll be going through withdrawals while you are transitioning back to CA. ;-{

Take Care,

Dawn

Hi Jelveh, Your beads look wonderful! I am sick at home in bed, confined to my room so I don't infect my kids with strep or possible MONO! YEAH, so I am feelin' it for ya!

Take care and get some VitaminC!!

Awesome Jelveh! I won that fabulous focal! I've been helping my husband move his offices all week and barely had time to think or do my usual blog browsing, so this is a special treat! Thank you thank you...address on the way!!! :-)
