The Sun has come out & New Beads...

Hi all...the sun finally came out a bit here & there...we had a busy weekend, a breakfast out with family for my mother & my brothers birthday...then we did some antique & thrift store shopping...it was really fun...

I got a chance to make some beads & I am really proud of this group...I have listed some of them in my etsy shop & will be listing the rest by Thursday 10am California time...below is a photo of a few of them...

Last week's bead giveaway goes to Dorothy, please send your address...this week there are two beads up for one winner in the top photo, the tree bead & the lentil scroll bead...enter to win them by making a comment on this post...

I was trying to add a calander to my blog for all the cool up coming events & classes at the studio...but I am having a hard time adding a cool one & the one that blogger has is not a good size...do any of you know of a good calander widget that I can add to my blog, so for example I can tell about the Friday Feb 12the get together at Graceful Studios from 2 to 7pm...more on this later...

Aren't trees wonderful. I always wonder what they would say if they could talk. Think about a 2000 year old tree that is still standing, it would have quite a story. Love the beads.

All the new beads are totally gorgeous... I'm finding myself unable to sustain a decision... first I think the purple and olive lentils (flowers, lower right corner in second photo) are my favorite... then it's the magnificent tree.... soooooo unique.... then it's the lentil up there with the tree.... then it's _____ (and on and on ). So, thanks again, and I'm off now to see what you've put on etsy... smiling all the way! Dorothy

The new beads are lovely. It sounds as though you had a nice weekend. We had a stressful one with fish tank problems!!

Love, love, love the tree of life focal and the lentil with it. Sounds like a great weekend for you and the family. We have my Mom's 80th party this weekend, wow she sure doesn't look or act 80. She still mows her grass, drives all her friends to church, gardens, she's just a young chick and wants no part of an 80th birthday party. I'm off to your Etsy shop, thanks again for the pretties, I loved them. You're the best girlie.
Peace and love

I am glad that you are having some nice weather. Our weather is OK but nothing to brag about. At least, we haven't had the rains that you have.

I love the tree of life bead. Try posting the voting for the bracelet on facebook. Worked for us for our charity http://www.friendsofcolombianorphans.org/ and we won $2000 ebay vouchers.

Good Luck
Karen
