Sunny Wednesday Beads....

Hi all, hope you have had a great week so far...mine has been very busy & fun...this past weekend my sister & I got awesome massages at the Well Within Spa for her birthday...the girl deserves it, she is not only the best sister ever, she works very hard at her job & she is the very cool & busy mother of two great kids & wife to a nice man...

Then on Monday I went to a pool party for my sister's little boy's birthday...we many birthdays in August in our family...wish I had photos to show you, but both my mom & my sister have yet to send me the photos...(hint hint

On the bead front I had some fun making more ribbon beads, a few focal beads & some Navajo Rug beads from a Series I have had for many years, those yummy warm colors never go out of style...I have started to list some of the beads & all should be listed by 6pm California time in my etsy shop...

Sue from the NW wins last week's yummy bead...for this week I have a bead that I made while chasing an idea of making Ancient Egyptian inspired beads...the colors are so much more yum that the photo shows...there is lots of blues & silver glass in there as well with enamels & 24 kt gold leaf...its all encased for that yummy look & it measures 27mm along the hole x 22mm wide...enter to win it by making a comment on this post about what your all time favorite colors are...

Thanks for stopping by...life is good...

Jelveh

Peace

Hi Jelveh,
You have been a busy gal! I have also with my daughter having shoulder surgery...taking her back and forth to work and therapy, switching off and on with her hubby. I think my fav colors have to be the blues. They are all so peaceful and calming to me. Maybe it's that they remind me of water flowing and changing color as it travels over rocks, or gets darker the farther from the shores. I've always had a thing for water and all the different colors of it.
Peace and love,
Brenda

Jelveh,
What a stunning bead this weeks giveaway is....just love the rich blue!!
Sounds like you have had a great family week. Nothing like celebrating with family. I don't have brothers and sisters to share with, but our children are grown and have families and to me a day with all of them is just perfect!!
As for colors of beads...just love combinations of purple/Turq/lime and turq/ivory/black. As for fall colors I love purple/plum with olive green.
Hope you have another great week!

Jelveh,

Of course, I love the blues and this weeks bead is superb! I just finished a bracelet today using some Jelveh blue beads and can't wait to see others reaction to it. I have entered a craft show in August, it will probably fly off my table.

All the best,
Sue

Hi Lovely Lady. My fav colours are Aqua Blue, such a bright and happy colour, purple beautifl and stong colour and combining pale blue and brown. I LOVE the new beads the ribbon beads are stunning and the Navajo rug beads are awsome. Your weeks sounds like it has been great fun. We are birthday heavy around Christmas time, so we miss the pool patires but gain the fairy lights :)
Have a great week Mel xxxxxxx

Hi Jelveh:
I am recovering from a mini vacation with my two daughters and two of my grandchildren. Had a great time but I do need some at home time now.
The colors in your give away bead are beautiful! The gold leaf reminds me of the tiny gold pieces we found when we went panning for gold.
Hi to Martin!
