I do have some very yummy beads for you today, I had a great time making them, the colors remind me of yummy creme brulee, so that is what I named the 3 sets & the one key bead in these colors, I will also have 2 large focal beads & 2 petite round focal beads, I should have them all listed by 2pm California time...click here to see them in my etsy shop along with 12 other bead goodie...
As for the weekly bead giveaway, Mel P. wins the bead for last week, her name was picked Random Picker on line...this week's bead giveaway is a very cool bead, one of my favs, its a fish, its a creature, its lovely blues & encased with silver glass details...enter to win it by making a comment on this post on what colors in beads you are looking for these days, you can make a comment to win it even if you dont have a color choice to talk about...
The photo above I took from the plane over the Rocky Mountains right before we landed in Denver on our way back from Montana...I love Mountains, specially the ones in Montana & Colorado...they inspire me to make more landscape beads...
Thanks for stopping by...Life is GOOD...

Creme brulee is my all-time favorite dessert!
Hi Jelveh,
* Grandma is so cute.
* My color choice is red.
And your beads are amazing.
the beads are gorgeous as is the overview photo, breathtaking! These day's I'm looking for blue beads.
hi jelveh! look at that picture from the plane...beautiful...and so is the giveaway fish bead! bead colors, hummm, let's see, maybe olive green and purple; i really depend on you to put the colors together, to be honest. take care, lisa d., portland, oregon
Hi Jelveh! Great photo from the plane and a great family shot as well. So glad you were able to run away and have some fun! I have to agree with the olive green and purple color scheme... my fav! :)
Hi Jelveh,
The fish bead is awesome - I love those colors and blues would be the colors I've been thinking about.
Hi Jelveh ~ So glad you got to play for a few days, and Montana sounds like it was fun! Grandma sure doesn't look like she's 88 :) Love the photo and this week's bead! Since I tend to wear a lot of black, I seem to gravitate towards bright beads: fuschia, orange, turquoise, purple/violet, lime green, bright yellow and any combination of two or more of those. Have a great week!
I seem to have a hard time getting blogs through. I'm glad you had some time away to spend with family on holiday. The 4th of July is a fun holiday for my family, we have great fun. As far as colors I think you're right on with the creme brulee colors along with the navys, dark reds, and the ivories. I love deep navy with a very dark red, looks beautiful with silver and gold with crystals. Grandma's so adorable. Peace to you.
Hi Jelveh. Oooooo thank you random name picker, I am so excited to ahve won:0) Lots of pale green and pink combos at the moment. Really feminine without being tooo bubblegum and selling well too! Your trip sound fab. Have a great week xxxxxxx
Hi Jelveh:
That is wonderful that you were able to spend time with Martin's parents and grandparents! I think that Martin's father looks like his mother (Martin's grandmother). How nice that you could be there for a great birthday. My mother will be 90 in November. We wanted to have a big birhday party for her but she wants no part of it! LOL!
Your picture from the plane is awesome--just gorgeous! I, too, love the mountains but I actually prefer the ones on the east coast!
Hmmm, colors. I really don't have a preference but definitely fall colors!
Ginny
hey jelveh - i, too, love the mountains - i LIVE in them - northern bc is very beautiful - a few days off is always a bonus - leaves you feeling refreshed!! - i've always loved bright colors - the creme brulee are really great!
Nice beads as always! Family time is always nice and what better place than Montana (in summer!). I agree Montana has some of the most beautiful mountains around!
Thanks Lori girl...
Thanks Sarah, just red, not red and something else? I like red and tan and black together alot...
Thanks Dee, I work with blues most of the time, they are yum...
Hey Lisa girl, thanks for the suggestions, I worked with some purples and greens this weekend, have to check the kiln yet to see how they came out...
Thanks Kristen, we had a great time, yup made some greens and purples on sat...
Thanks Libbie, I love blues too...
Jozd, thanks we had a great time and yup grandma looks great...I love bright colors too, I need to make more of my Mexican Fiesta beads soon...
Hey Brenda, yup the holidays were fun, we tend to go to Montana more around the 4th of July...I like reds and blues too, and the ivory would be a good contrast in there...
Glad you wont too Mel P. I hope you like it...yup I love the pinks and greens too, I call them the English Garden, should make some...
Hey Ginny girl, yup we had a great time, the boys in the family all look the same too, they are all named the same, its kind of cool I can see what hubby looks like at different ages...love the mountains too, ours are better, have you been to the rockies...? worked with fall colors on sat, we shall see how they turned out...
Thanks Leslie girl, yup I love the mountians, to live it them would be cool, but there is snow, I love them in the warm months better....
Thanks Rickie, yup love them mountains, but mostly in the summer, I mean I do ski, well not sure if you call it that, I mostly roll down the hill screaming and yelling in a pile, so now if I go to the snow its cross country for me only, hubby's dad thought me how...but I like summers better at the mountains...
