Jelveh, you look just as beautiful and mysterious as the Mona Lisa. Weren't you surprised at how small she is?

Wishing you a safe trip home,

Beautiful bead, Jelveh! It looks like you had a fabulous time in Paris...those pastries look so yummy :)

Thanks Sue, I had seen her before when I was 12, back then you could stand closer to her and I remember thinking this time she was much smaller than I remember...

Gorgeous bead! I'm so envious of your Paris trip! It must have been amazing!

Hey Girlie,

The bead is so beautiful!!! I just love a good French Pâtisserie!!
It always makes me laugh at how tiny the Mona Lisa is...like a wee postage stamp if a painting. It doesn't look like the Lourve is that crowded too, good for you!!!

I never realized the Mona Lisa was so small. Good picture of you with her. The pastry looks delish. Did you get some to go? Looks like you are making the most of every minute till you leave. Loved the new bead. Lovely colors. It is a feeling of freedom when that packing truck leaves, isn't it?

Peace to you also

You always have such great adventures. I think that picture of the pastries intrigues me more than that of the Mona Lisa! ha ha I'm a sucker for a great dessert!

Julie, Carolyn & Melissa, you must have been commenting when I was writting to Sue...

Julie----Thanks girl, I am sure one day you will do a lot of traveling...

Carolyn----Thanks so much for the kind words, not sure why the comment thing gives so much trouble...the move will be great...

Melissa----yes they looked very yum, now that I think about it, I should have had some...

MillieDog Designs----Thanks so much, it was a great trip...

Kate----It is a small painting, but not as small as it looks in the photo, I am far from it and it looks like there is no crowd since we are all standing behind a barrier, so the painting itself is much far away from all the crowds, but they are there, I assure you...I had to fight my way to the front to see her again...when I was there 32 years ago at the age of 12, it was not protected in the same way...
thanks for the good words on the bead...

Libbie----Thanks girl, yeah Munny's are all the rage in some circles...I am thinking of getting one to see what I can do with it...

Juju----the photo is not so good, it makes the Mona Lisa look smaller than it realy is, story has it that Leonardo liked the painting so much he used to carry around with him under his arm in a portfolio...sadly I did not get any pastry, should have...
yes the packing is done, so now 2 weeks or so and we are home...

Kristen----I know what you mean about the pastry, they do look good...

Hi Jelveh:
I loved the picture of you in front of the Mona Lisa. Now you are going to laugh at this but I drooled over the bakery picture. I have a real sweet tooth! I can't believe you didn't buy any; you could have taken them home! I sure wouldn't have passed them up! LOL

Ginny girl----I know I can not believe that I did not say I want this or that...but we had just had a full on mean and desert at this yummy place....I should have got a few for breakfast the next day...

acptuser----Thanks so much...

Jules----yup he is a sweet person, its ok we are due to come home, its been a great ride and we will travel as you well know in the coming years, so life is good...

Lisa----I know, I remember walking up to her too...but they now have this huge parameter blocked off in a half circle in front of her...so she looks even smaller than she is...and it was packed....
I know we are packed and shipped, all we have now is our suit cases and 3 small Jelveh Designs studio provisions that I am mailing and did not ship with the rest, since I do not want to wait 8 weeks to start working again, its kind of like a smaller studio...ordered a new kiln and oxy con, which will arrive a few days after we get home...all is good...

It's good to see you're cramming your last days 'in residence' full of wonderful memories. I hope you do get a little time in the British Museum, it's a wonderful place! I'm also rather fond of the Victoria and Albert, National Gallery... Honestly, you never run out of things to do in London, do you? Paris looked beautiful too--they have such an artistic way of displaying food that it's a visual delight! Love your new shoes by the way!

Well, since you're all packed up, it sounds like you'll be on the way home soon, so travel well.
Hugs!
>^..^<
p.s. I'm especially fond of that beautiful set of blue ribbons on etsy-yum!

Hey Rickie, yup its been fun and we almost went to Athens too, but there would have been no time to sleep and pack...today we went to Bath...I have been to the national Gallery, I really want to go to the British Museum however, we shall see if there is time...
thanks for the kind words on the beads
