On Sunday we were invited to a Thanksgiving dinner here in England, a bit early since everyone works on Thursday...it was a great party and we met a lot of very nice people...Hubby made his very yummy cranberry sauce & I made Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes...What are you doing for Thanksgiving this year?...Hope it is going to be a fun one for you...
I spend a great few hours at the torch today while I listened to the last of Atlas Shrugged, have you read it? what do you think of it?...
I will list some beads in the next few days & will let you know...
Life is good here, hope all is well with yours? Jelveh

We are spending Thanksgiving with my 89-year-old mother who still drives, plays the piano, plays bridge and gardens. My father passed away in 2000 and Mother still lives in the house by herself. I sure hope that I inherited her genes!
Ah, Atlas Shrugged--one of my all time favorite books. I read it ages ago when I was in high school. There is a lot in that book to sink your teeth into. I like the way she focused on her belief in capitalism, individuality of a person, free will--just a fantastic take on philosophy, ecomomics, and politics.
It is interesting to note that she never wrote another novel after that third one.
Have fun with your mom, she sounds cool...I have read bits and parts of her books and storied before, but not the whole thing, the book on audio was over 40 hours...I loved it all...
