For the past couple of weeks or so I have been dealing with some medical stuff...so they kept checking me for all kind of issues, ran tests & I was on some meds too & felt better, then felt worse...it was like playing 20 questions...Is it Animal, Vegetable or Mineral...? well it turns out it was Mineral...I passed a 5x2mm kidney Stone early Sunday & spent a few hours in the emergency room, fun stuff...to his credit my very funny Dr. Called me on my birthday, this past Thursday, he said I had to come in for more tests right now, when I said I wont be able to since I had a hair appointment, he said "hair more important than life? well if you end up in the emergency room before Tuesday (my next appointment) its not my fault" good news he said was "that for a big girl my cholesterol was only 155" you have to know that my Dr. has a very thick Chines accent & I could not help but laugh the whole time he was basically yelling at me for not going to the office for more tests...by the way when I was at the hospital my hair had no grays & the bit with the shocking pink looks really fun...I had some pain & I kept getting really tired really fast, but still I went out to dinner with hubby on Thursday & to dinner on Friday with hubby, my sister & her hubby, in between which I shipped beads & another 30 Key Mandrels...needless to say its was dumb or perhaps all the activity helped to pass the big stone...the cartoon above might give you an idea of the kind of pain I was in & its funny...
Hope your memorial day weekend was more fun & less memorable than mine & you took some time to remember those gone before us...I am recovering now & life is once again good...as a side note, I love Rhinos, I even met one up close & personal, he was lovely...
