New Beads & Events...

Hi, hope your summer is going well...ours is off to a fantastic start with lovely days full of sunshine...I have been having a great time this past week teaching lampwork bead making to a class full of school teachers...I love them all...Maureen is the ringleader, with the best smile, she brings with her my favorite nutcase, Patty another great smile...then comes Pat, the quiet ones are always trouble and funny, last but certainly the first one to class, always the crazy math teacher, Kim with a great sense of humor & smile, they are all having fun with their new addiction & I am lucky to have them as student/new bead buddies...

Don't Forget this Friday June 21,2013 is our Meet the Artist event, Glass Lampwork Artist Mary Lockwood is teaching a class at our studio, Graceful Customs, this coming weekend. Class is full but if you are in the area this is a good opportunity to meet her. She will be demonstrating some of her techniques & will have her beads on Display. Refreshments served. Contact me or Grace if you have any questions.

On to new beads...I have added lots of new beads to my shop in the past few weeks....

Bead Giveaway of last time went to Paula Smith, you can enter to win the bead above, which is one of my favorite Zen-Doodle beads, by making a comment on this post about your favorite summer jewelry...

Thanks so much for stopping by...Life is good

Oh how I wish I lived close enough to take a bead class from you! Instead I will content myself with admiring your beads from afar. My favorite summer jewelry this year will be the necklace I make from my new tree bead, lol. Enjoy your summer...!

I love all the happy summer colors of yoru beads! They almost look like (very fancy) candy...Yummy! My favorite summer jewelry is the fun and funky charm necklaces in my collection. Looking forward to actually making more necklaces this summer!

Jelveh, so fun to hear about your summer. My favorite jewelry for summer is an anklet. Plenty of styles to show off the legs. Hope I win this bead, it is awesome as always. Take good care, Sue

Love the giveaway bead Jelveh(beautiful as always; also love the green beads on Etsy) - will you please send some of your sunshine my way! I feel like I am drowning up here in the north! One of my favorite summer projects is making some new necklaces out of some raku clay beads that I purchased awhile back(very earthy colors)

My favorite summer jewelry seems to have the color turquoise in it...just like this bead! I love the contrast with the darker colors, love the encased swirls that I wish I could do and the shape is lovely. It would go perfectly with my Jelveh earrings that I wear all of the time--summer or not!

My favorite summer jewelry is a silver necklace with round bangles every few chain links. It was my mother's necklace and it brings back fond memories of her every time I wear it.

Your Work is VERY INSPIRING!!! Such Amazing Talent you Have!!! My Favorite summer adornments are Colorful and Light! A few Strands of Color around my Neck, and Ankle. Bracelets are Light, Airy and Bright! In the Cooler Weather, I match my Necklace Adornment to my Bracelet, but in Spring/Summer... it is all about the Anklet!!! :D
