Happy April...

Hello all, hope your spring is off to a good start. Mine has been pretty nice so far. I have been enjoying the nice weather in the garden, making lots of beads & doing a bit of teaching which is always fun for me...
I have listed some new beads in my etsy shop, here is a preview of them...

In Other Happy news my beads are in the new book Glasss 3. photo below, I believe it goes on sale on April 15th.there are lots of great artists in the book.
Thanks for stopping by, life is good

Jelveh, Just bought a book on Zentangles and how to do them. It says they are relaxing and help you focus. Looking at your beads is always relaxing for me. However, instead of focus, they are inspirational. So maybe something like Inspiring Zens or Inspiring Zentangles would be a good name.

Hope all is well,
Sue

Haven't made jewelry in a while, but your beads are putting me in the mood - so beautiful. How about a combo of the two - Zen Quilt.

Your beads in the book (like all of your beads!) are just gorgeous! Will this book be available in the US?

Hi Jelveh, I can certainly understand why anybody writing a book on glass beads wants to include yours in it... they're just gorgeous and add a lot of class and beauty to anything anything they're in/on... book, website, person... just whatever. I agree with the earlier poster who said the a name for the new ones could very well be built around Inspiration... they are relaxing to look at but at the same time they send your mind in all sorts of fun directions of inspirations.

I like the Persian idea of New Years being on the first day of spring.... the two "rebirths" fit together nicely.

Jelveh, your beads make my jaw drop. They are beyond gorgeous and inspiring. Please enter me in your next bead drawing. I will be following your work!
I suggest the name Kaleidoscope for this beautiful line.

Yup I decided to go with the suggestion that Sioux George my glass artist friend, ZenDoodles, I think it says it all, thanks to everyone who suggested names, I remember about 10 years ago was the first time I asked my clients to help me name a series of beads, from the World Series that gave birth to such beads as the Mexican Fiesta & Moon Over Monterey, all named by my clients to the Splats/Splash series named by my clients and now this series, thanks again...
Joanne, I think you can order the book on line, it goes on sale April 15th, the link is on the upper side bar of my blog page...
