Happy New Year Jelveh from a very damp and windy UK. I seem to be finding very little time for beading at the moment even though I am out of work and looking for a new job. Hopefully finding a new job will destress me a bit and I will relax and find the time. I hope you are well and healthy and 2012 brings you and your wonderful family all you wish for. And a Happy 2012 to you and your family! My beading habits are rather eratic these days, anything from working with the 7 year old granddaughter, who is fantastic with color and loves your new reds on your blog page by the way to restringing that beautiful pearl bracelet that my daughter bought me. The Delta belt ate them alive when she went to AC, boo! Luckily no damage to the pearls, just broke the silk in an area that requires a full restring. One project at a time!!
Peace

Happy New Year...it is starting out super already...I won the last bead of 2011! Woohoo!

Fabulous beads, Jelveh! You are amazing!

My beading habits have included "torching" in the window of Hour Place...the wonderful clock shop in Capitola Village at their First Friday. Amazing how a flame can bring in the customers!

Received a new glass book for Christmas...Creating Glass Beads by Warhaftig. Trying to make at least one of each project!

Anybody else having an issue with their oxygen concentrator not working when it is cold?

Looking forward to a wonderful 2-0-1-2...for me...and you!

Happy New Year Jelveh, it is terrific that your Zentangle beads are receiving recognition. My beading habit has been looming lately. I made 15 bracelets for Christmas. 12 were for my grandchildren with their names on the bracelet with other decorations. I glued them on Leather bands that snap. They were a big hit. Today I had to stop and organize my bead room. Found the last beads I had bought from you and got inspired. Some lampwork jewelry coming soon I think.

Beading?? - I've forgotten what that is........with Christmas & work &........seems like I seldom have time any more - & it's the thing I love to do the most!!(something wrong with this picture!) - right now if I do have any extra time it is spent tidying up my "craft room" - it needed it in the worst way! Happy New Year to all!

thanks so much for the comments everyone, its good to know that some of you are still doing what you love that is playing with beads, but not so good to know that so many of us are so busy that we dont get to play as often as we like, I hope the new year gives everyone a bit more time to play with beads and enjoy life more, sort of like stop and smell the roses or check out the beads more often...
