Is it Wednesday Already...???

Hi all, Hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend & remembered all who have gone before us...well if you have read my last post you might imagine that I dont have much energy this week & am still in recovery mode...I do have a couple of yummy petite focal beads, a new key bead & one set of yummy Pink Tropics listed today that I made early last week, check them out here...

Hope to be back at the torch soon...

The winner of the yummy Landscape bead from last week, picked by a random number picker, is Leslie C. of Canada...for this week I have chosen the Flower Bouquet from my etsy shop...I love this bead, I worked on it for some time...it is lovely, about 22mm round & 8mm thick, with yummy flowers on both sides...enter to win by leaving comment on this post...

On Friday night we went to dinner with my awesome sister & her hubby to the Blow Fish in Santana Row...we laughed so hard for so long & the food was yum...

Totally off subject, I have the TV on in the back ground while i am blogging, I see that they will have the American Idol guys on the Today Show, so I change the channel to Regis, since I can not stand anything to do with American Idol & sure enough some guy, I guess one of the finalist Adam somebody is on...tell me am I the only one on the planet who does not watch this show...? he sounds good & looks funky...

Thanks for stopping by...life is good...hope yours is good too...

Jelveh

Peace

Jelveh, I lost interest in Idol years ago! I watched the first couple of seasons and then found something better to watch on TV. I think they really just drag it out way too much! :) Love the bead this week! So pretty! Hope you are torching again soon! :)

I'm with you. I don't watch idol either. It's an annoying show - my opinion.

Hiya, I don't watch the UK version either but you can't seem to escape it here either! Even if you don't watch it, the contestants are on the news, on the radio AND in the newspapers ... gah!

That is a smashing bead - look forward to you getting back in your stride and seeing many more.

Hey Kristen, I know the idol thing is just like any other thing for me, it works if its real, but it does not when folks try and drag the last $$ out of it by dragging along forever, for idol specially I was turned off when I saw how the people were treated...I thought why would we as a people watch people treat other people this badly…it just made me nuts, so I only watched twice and that was it…I will hopefully get back on the torch by next week…thanks for the good words…

You are right Lisa, it is very popular and I think that is why so many feel they have to be involved, what else would folks talk about when they go to work the next day? You could be so left out if you were one of the people who did not watch…the bead itself was about 15min, but I had to make the encased stringers and such earlier, so that takes some time…thanks girl.

Thanks so much Jo, I am working on being a good girl, but I did do a bunch of shipping this week again & tried my hand today Friday at the torch, I made a few things, but I could not make a set to save my life…thanks again.

Thanks so much Lori girl…

Thanks Shana, could not agree more…

Hey Ginny girl, the dinner thing was 3 days before I passed the stone, since then I have mostly been at home, save for going to the post office…but this Sat, we are going to my parents for a big 45th party…the birthday continues…so glad you liked you Key Bead…

Thanks so much Libby, feeling much better already, the stupid thing was stuck on its way out forever and it caused some issues that only time will fix…yes stop by Santana Row and check out the Blow Fish it was great, get the Tuna Tar Tar Pyramid, it was so yum…

Thanks so much Sue, YES another person says no on Idol…

Beadnbear, thanks so much girl, it’s good to hear from you…

Good for you Suzi girl, glad there are more none idol people out here…glad you got your bead too and liked it…

Thanks so much Sue, I think they have the best marketing ever, they are always on something, one has to work hard to escape them…thanks for the good words, I am getting better….

Thanks so much Mel, here in American Big Brother came and went, I don’t think it’s on anymore…but my gosh in England the folks who worked with my husband talked about it like it was the only thing in life to talk about, he used come home and say, I feel like I have to watch this idiotic show just to have a conversation with people at lunch…mind you my honey is one the smartest people I know and most people love having conversations with him…glad you are not in to them…

Hey Sarah, thanks so much for the kind words, more beads soon I promise…

Hi Joy, thanks for the good words, sorry I took the bead off of etsy, I had to put a nice bead up for the giveaway this week and had not had a chance to make beads, so I picked this yummy for the giveaway, hope the random picker picks you and you get to have the bead after all…
