I may not share more photos of the trip, for now here are some photos of a night we all went to dinner with some of my friends that I have in Turkey, these lovely people were in my class this past June, save for Pinar who introduced me to the school that I now teach at regularly...I made a special glass bead project to share with my friends...here are some photos of it...in one photo you can see us all in the bathroom sharing & in another Gunay, Burcu & Ayse are already wearing their beads...we had a great time...I miss them already too...
Went to London & saw the Eye on Sat...Going to Stone Henge with mom & dad on Monday while hubby works...then we are off to Spain at the end of the week...more later...perhaps even a few new beads on Wednesday...keep an eye out...
thanks for stopping by...

Hi Jelveh:
It is wonderful that you had the opportunity to reconnect with part of your family! I am so happy for you! I understand that sadness comes when you realize what you have missed. Perhaps it would be better not to focus on what could have been but rather on what will be!
Ginny
Hi Ginny, yes, I know you are right about this...I am already planing the next trip to see them...I am teaching a 5 day advanced class in April in Istanbul. so that will be good time to see more of my family...I will stay longer after class this time...I never knew the stories that my aunt remembers about my life as a kid would be so important to me...I was telling my sister she just cried and cried...the up shop of course is what we have gained from moving to the USA, our very lives, the fact that we are free...so there is always that, I would never have the life I have now, had we not left, I would live under cover & somewhat without hope like they do much of the time now...so there is that...anyway got to get moving, its going to be a long fun day with mom and dad...I did make some beads last night, so there is some coming...

Hi Jelveh,
I love these Mexican Fiesta beads! The colors are great. I like round beads best and I also love square beads. I like to get at least 6-8 beads so I can make a necklace and bracelet.
Your trip looks wonderful. You are inspiring in many ways and one of those is that you enjoy life so much. Thank you for sharing that. Have a good trip and thanks again.
