Bohemain Pinks...

Hi all, hope you have had a good week so far...we have had a great week, mostly...besides getting some nasty itchy hives from some food or some other allergens a few days ago, our week has been full of fun, sun & good things...over the weekend hubby did some work stuff & I made a few beads, listed them, see the post below to see that batch...then I made some more beads for today...I have listed them on etsy click here to see...

Here is a photo of me at a dam park area very close to our house, about a 10 minute ride...it was so lovely there this weekend...we drove Bella over to the park with the top down, probably how I picked up the allergens & got the hives...but that came later, we had fun the rest of the time...

Last Week's Flower focal bead goes to Vanessa from TX. send me your address please...

For this week I have the very yummy blue yellow ribbon bead above...the blues are silver glass, so they are even more yummy in person...to win this gorgeous bead please make a comment on this post about what kind of lampwork beads you are looking for these days...color, shape or what have you...

I am off to list more beads, if you get there & you don't see what you want it probably sold here is the link to the sold items...I do make some special orders, so let me know if you like a remake...

Thanks for stopping by...life is so very good...

Jelveh

Peace

Ooh, I love your work! Great blog! The beads in the photos are lovely. As far as what type of beads I'd look for, I am a huge fan of hot pink! :)

Hi Jelveh:
It is good to hear that your hives are better!
When I looked at your picture next to the water, I could have sworn you were not in California! It just doesn't look like California landscape to me! I know that CA has many different types of landforms and vegetation but this one just doesn't seem to fit. LOL!
As always your beads are gorgeous!
Keep on surprising us with your beauties!

Congratulations Vanessa from TX., I love that bead you won!

Jelveh, which silver glass did you use? I love it!

Ginny, there a lot of places around the area of CA where I live that look like that, too. :)

Fantastic work, I love the colors! I have had a torch in my studio for a year and I am still struggling to get a perfectly round bead.

I so envy your life AND your talent. I'm sorry to hear you had hives. I hope you are all better now. Loved the photo of your hubby and the belly dancer. I think my hubby would have been the same way. LOL -Lisa

Forgot to mention that I absolutely love all of the bright colors you have come up with. I think my favorite design is the amoeba type. They are just so different. :o) -Lisa from GA

I admire your work. I have several pieces of mix and match clothing in red, black and white. So, jewelry/beads in these colors would interest me.

Thanks for the kind words Tessa...working on more pinks...

Thanks Ginny girl, yup the hives are gone, just one little scar left over my eyebrow from one of them...yup that is California for sure, its even greener than that most of the time, hopefully we will get some rain this week to keep it green longer...come over and visit...we got all kinds of different landscapes...you have been here before right...?

Thanks so much for the kind words Carmel...

you are so welcome Vanessa, got the address your flower bead from last week will be in the mail by Friday...

Hey Suzi, thanks so much, yeah that one is Koronos 2 I think, it might be the first one, since I am still working off a handful of glass rods I had mailed to myself from my studio in England, the rest is still on the way...so everything I have is a bit mixed...

Thanks for the kind words Joy, anytime you want to come over my studio I can help you work out the round thing, i promise once you have it, it will be very easy to do it over and over again, send me an email if you like to talk about it too...

Thanks so much for the kind words LisaL, life is good & I am a thankful girl...yup the hives are gone...and yes hubby was fun to watch, he is always...and yes colors, its this California sunshine I tell you...

acptuser, thanks so much, it might be time for some black and whites...I will see what I have in me at the torch...

Thanks so much Pepper, love to see your creations...

Thanks so much Leslie, I love making my ribbon beads too, so there will always be more of them and I am branching out in different colors too...yes sadly that area is close to the fire areas, we need more rain...rain is good, it keeps us green...

What beautiful beads, you ar soo talented Lady:) I am looking for clear encasing in the beads that I am working with at the mo, I love the clarity it give the beads and the dimension. It makes them sop easy to work with. I have just purchased a set of orange ruffles from Caroline at Crafted Gems for that reason, they are beautiful xx

Hi Jelveh:
Have I been to California? Ah, how soon you forget. I lived in Coronado for two years and San Francisco for one year.
Hope you do get the rain to keep the green and lessen the chance of fires!
Have a good weekend!
I will be doing another show this weekend.
